ok guys...trying to help out a friend on a server


He wants his oval server to run like this

5 races with uf1 and 4 laps then same with xfg.xrg.mrt
so basically is 5 races 4 laps with one car then it changes to other car 5 races and 4 laps per race
but we both can quite get it to work

If you are using Airio, then edit the srv.txt with:-

# Track rotation scheme happening on every display of race end screen.
# "track[|laps/-mins[|car+car+]] > track..." in the scheme - string
# Instead of laps, minutes can be set as a negative value, the race is
# then for specified number of minutes plus one lap for the leader.
# Track name may be followed by underscore and layout name.
RotateTracks=KY1|4|UF1>KY1|4|XFG+XRG+MRT

# Number of races after which to rotate tracks by ending race - integer
# Number of minutes after which to rotate tracks by ending race - integer
RotateRaces=5
RotateMinutes=

i changed the settings like u said , still after updating and restarting server+ario , my server allows all cars and stays on 8 laps

heres a copy of my srv.txt file

am i doing something wrong ? why are all cars available and laps arent 4 laps

can anybody help me with setting up my ario , im new to it because we are used to our old FPRS insim system in the past .

if u can help me out on controlpanel and setup my ario please add me on msn : [email protected] or reply me here how we can contact eatchother , i will make u subuser at controlpanel so we can sort things out .

For anyone else the problem was that we had to select a car that was in the rotation string in order for rotation to work.

I'm still learning Airio , im new to this because we were used to our own FPRS System in the past , my question is :

Can somebody explain me how i can add rankings like : Novice , Clubman , National , International , Pro ,depend on how much points thy have in total .(maybe add an example of it , copy of FTP-File ) or maybe link me to another post where this is explained .

If you still have problem with this, please remove the 3rd line above, because it basically cancels the 1st line there, and there'll be no rotation at all.

I'm afraid the ranking thing (among many others) is not part of the Airio FREE version. You need at least FULL version for that to work, with the basic setting found in the TCD file as RankPointsText and RankPointsValue.
