I remeber playing an older version of lfs a year or two ago but cant remeber which version it was, I remeber we could use the car that looked like a honda civic hatchback, one called an xr gt I think and another one called an xr gt turbo or something :s for some reason " lfs s2 alpha 0.5 x is in my head but I'm not sure if that's it, any ideas?

Yes, there were XF GTI, XR GT and XR GT Turbo in LFS patch X demo.

and if that % shows up on the "number of players online" stats?

The only time I've played an older than the most up to date patch is when the public testing is open, and during most of that time its the latest patch thats the most interesting.

AFAIK patch X isn't supported by masterserver anymore, so it's users can't play online -> doesn't shows up in "number of players online".

Actually the master server supports patches as old as patch V. ATM there is 1 V server and 2 W servers, and a bunch of X and X10 servers.
