I am going to make an autumn mod for LFS. I will start with blackwood, so that the demo racers will be able to use my early versions. What I will be doing includes making the leafs red, yellow, etc. Also, any bushes will be starting to lose some leafs. Contributions are welcome!

thats like the S1 blackwood had red and yellow leaves on the left side trees

im not 100% sure though that you can change the 3d trees though

They all have textures, and the textures can be changed

no.. the big trees that move

those dont have a texture anywhere on them
(an alpha layer.. but not a diffuse texture)

Hmm... So are they just vertex coloured with an alpha layer to give them definition? I've never taken a close look at them.

Um great! but why?

Unless you can put fallen leaves on the track, so cars can slip on them, and watch them get blown and dragged in the slipstream, it's only colouring a few trees that we don't look at anyways? I'd have thought road textures better grass signage etc would have been a better use of all that time and skill?

Cool idea. Wouldn't it be good if you could have slippery patches of tarmac under trees where the leaves fall off in autumn - just like Druids at Oulton Park. Obviously more than just a texture change though.

I don't have photoshop. I tried adapting it to work with GIMP, but it didnt work.
