heey guys i have no idea if this is correct place to pop this question but ahhwell. i am wondering if it possible to change the engine idle rpm. is it even possible ? or is there a insim that changes it. for all i know there might be a thing it the settings to change it can anyone help me

You could that with tweak, but meh ...

Once i managed to give cars a nice unstable idle rpm, not very unstable but it was like slightly going up and down - it was with rpm limiter.

I wish there was proper rpm limiter built in lfs and so the rpms would not be so stable. It could change all the time, even if ur throttling it. Like +/- 50rpm or so. Would be very realistic in my opinion.

yes. i would like some teak like that. like it is unstable and lower it. cause i own a old car (93 dodge ram 150) and it idles at really low rpm now. i would like to make the lfs car idle at that low speed too

you can do a program where the minimum throttle input is like 5% so it idles a little higher, but thats all that i can think of.

or if you are using a logitech device, use DXtweak to tweak the throttle axis to make lfs think it always has a little throttle, not sure how that work.

This can function as a poor man's engine brake reduction, too. I use it on my race bike.

now do any of you have a app that can do this so we can put it into practice in lfs

Just adjust the lower limit on your throttle axis to a value beyond that which the axis can reach.
