Barbosa just made it to the top 3, so us the little Tugas have something to brag about (even if last year's win wasn't repeated :X)
Gotta feel sorry for Brundle though, he didn't even want to wait for the fuel to get in the car he wanted this one so bad

Yeah 3rd place for the old man team would have been would have been a thoroughly deserved result.

Was interesting to watch, but I asked myself what happened to the #40 Mazda, he led with 1 lap and then was suddenly 3-4 laps behind... At least on the podium, sadly the Mazda with the most chances got Porsche-Camaro'd

And Said/Auberlen's BMW had gearbox trouble I heard when leading the GTs...

Dempsey isn't Paul Newman as of yet, but his team is getting pretty respectable. If you had told me that an actor from Grey's Anatomy could finish third in the 24 hours of Daytona, I'd have taken that bet... and lost. Good on him for putting in all the effort required to get to this point despite another career.

...and I heard their Mazda had electric problems towards the end, that may also be a reason.

When I heard "Patrick Dempsey", I thought "That actor?", because I didn't know that he'd drive there.

It was one of the best 24 hour races that I've ever seen despite the long period of fog over night. I think 24 hours is too long for exciting racing anyways :P

No, I know that's not the attraction for everybody, and I respect that, but I'm more likely to watch a race that is more exciting.
