Fast Animals promo video
Hello,

I being inspired by my mates who render a great racing videos and by the great video makers all around the LFS community finally decided to make promo video which would represent my team Fast Animals which currently participates in GT3 cup. I don't have much experience in capturing and rendering the videos... This job is made with Sony Vegas Pro 10 program in which I am totally newbie and I hope I will learn more and more over the time. So, I hope it will be at least bearable to watch

Fast Animals promo video captured and rendered by me...

There is a bug at the ninth second and it's due to a clip which occurs in the audio track, I unfortunately didn't notice that, so next time I will pay more attention to this things

Song: Coldplay "Clocks"

Please feel free to express your opinion about this video. All critics, suggestions and other notes are accpted.

Thank you for Your attention.

Sincerely, Skirmantas.

Quality is good

but

i think for a promo like this it is much to long because you only see a car wich is driving around the track.
The beginning wasn´t that bad but there was one big mistake where you were behind the wall. That looks ugly. I would see the car and not the wall.

But as you said oure a newbie in movie making, i am too but you will be better.
Liked the intro(up to 0:20). The rest is plenty of mistakes and very uneventful sadly.

The idea in itself could've been nice. But this kind of slow-motion vids require a lot of attention in the scenary to keep the spectator entertained. This means, for example, a great variety of camera views. No uber-long scenes. Several tracks featured. Also, some online racing action is almost required if you go further than a few minutes(unless you're an editing god).

So, if you'd ever do something similar again, here are my advices. Shorten your scenes. Take higher FOVs. Get some more static cams. Record action from different tracks. Put some close racing action(your team had some in GT3 and LFSES, didn't it?) at the most intense points(music wise I guess? I'd say for this song it'd be around 3:00 or 4:15, now I didn't have listen it so much.).

And, some more general advices that would fit for every LFS movie you make. No sudden cam moves(1:50, 3:11, among others). Never make your cam go through objects, especially not walls(0:49-1:00). Try to take the effort of making a proper end(if the music ends at 5:00, don't make your vid last until 5:15).
Thanks for notices, folks! I will keep it in my mind Yeah I admit to all your said notes. But at least I made HD video with a quite nice quality which I haven't been doing before
If I take videos of people who hasnt made any before...it was quite above average... but there are too long shots... some of them are good but some of them are just like cameraman has fallen asleep and then realized the object of his interest is no more in the view...
but the worst part was going with camera through the objects...that is not cool man
I liked the beginning tho...
however if this is your first video...you sure will remove the mistakes in the next one and you will make some good videos in future...just dont be as lazy as I am

PS: pedobear...also not cool

Thanks for notice. Yes I agree. It's intresting when you filming you not always realise how things go not so very well, but after rendered video you starting to point out mistakes which occurs in your video. Yeah there are mistakes: filming across the walls, camera dropped at trees and of course as well said by above guys and you - shots too long. So I will try to pay more attention to all these details.

P.S Haha... well this pedobear idea is not mines, but it's quite fun

Cheers.
