Graphic upgrade problem
Hello! I upgraded my GPU (form GTX285 to GTX580), installed FW 263.09 & LFS looks like that:

All others games & benchmarks works perfect.

What to do?
Looks like some of the textures have gone AWOL. I think there's an option in LFS somewhere to like 'refresh' the graphics or something? I'm not sure. Don't even have it installed so can't check unfortunately. I've seen the issue before but can't remember what needed to be done to fix it.

Try changing some graphics settings and if that doesn't work then download LFS again and try it on a new install.
I thought about textures but its rather imposible. Thats quite strange... Only GPU and drivers was changed. LFS was untouched for a lot of time... Maybe it is something with DirectX (but I reinstalled it too).
You can try a fresh install of LFS just to make sure LFS is OK. Some another DX8 only test like 3D Mark 2001 might be helpful too.
delete

card_cfg.txt , is in the main lfs dir

then try again
I found solution. Texture filtering above x1 casue the error. Solution for now - filtring x1. Strange...
I have the exact same problem.
GTX 580 card, and core two 3,33 GHz, but AF above 1 greys out my mirrors and the speedo.
Same problem (580 GTX, Win7 x64).
Fix:
in game set Anisotropy x1
in driver force Anisotropy X16

P.S. Also have problem with RBR... black screen. Anyone know how fix it?

P.P.S. Solution for RBR and NetKar Pro - switch from fullscreen to window mode
Might be the problem of drivers and lack of support of some DX7/8 features LFS use. I would be not suprised.

Why someone at Nvidia or Ati would bother with such a support...
Same problem here with a GTX 570 and drivers 266.58 under Vista 64 bits...

I think the GT 500 from Nvidia don't like the old DX 8 !

Need a DX 11 support in S3 !
I see you're online now, have you fixed the problem?
Just had this issue after updating to a GTX570.

Turned the AF down to fix it.
