2048 or more

Sorry but 64 or less would be better. Until weeks ago my graphics card had an amazing 32 mb of VRAM but I upgraded it to the higest too a huge 128 mv of VRAM wow
Quote from DEVIL 007 :GeForce GTX 295 ??

GTX 295 only has 896MB of (usable) memory because of the way how SLI works. SLI/Crossfire just copies the same data to both GPU's memory chips. Therefore if you see a dual GPU card package saying 2048MB, it'll mean 1024MB of effective video memory in reality.

GTX 580 here, 1536MB.
256MB, X1650Pro. Still, I run a lot of 3rd party textures (Lynce, my own) with high resolution and AA/AF with min. 70fps
i can see the potential in a survey like this. nice idea. good job DEVIL007.

Thank you. Good to see such a nice feedback with people ranting around .
My hope it has some potential. I asked for it to be sticky for a while.

Anyway, thanks you to all who voted so far.

I've got 1024 MB GDDR5 SDRAM on my ATI HD5770. Thinking of getting a newer one tho.

nVidia 9800GT 512mb.
Extremely satisfied with it still after many years.
ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 4650. Dunno memory though...

EDIT: It's an Axxif Ferm laptop. HF01 series or similiar.

Nice to see I'm not the only one still in that era. 256MB X1800XT here. I doubt it will last the year out though.
ATi Radeon HD 5870 1024mb
i think i have a ddr3 256 MB geforce Gt 240. i think its 256 , dont rmember but its a PCIE.

My old card couldnt handle lfs on lowest settings, now i can run full except half on AA.
Don't forget that memory is only half the issue - the card still has to be powerful enough to do something useful with all the pretty pixels.
Quote from hazaky :1024mb. Thats pretty much mainstream already.

The current textures are waaaay too old and small. For myself, i made myself 8k resolution textures for BL. Looks alot better now.

care to show a pic maybe? :P

who here still uses less then 64mb? i'm sure i have a few cards sitting about that might help bump the average GPU MB up a bit. i think i have a 6600GT (AGP) sitting here. i also have a 8800GT (PCI-E) sitting here.
i could be willing to part with them if any of those <64mb owners want to give me a hollar.
Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 1GB GDDR5 works fine for me

Why do I have the feeling that the blurred out text says "VirtualBox"? You could've set it to something way more interesting, like 4 MB
has nobody taught you that you can't blag a blagger?
hahaha I could so but I don't have that program anyways I just use it in my SServer back in 2007 with Windows 2000 Data Center
