gave that a try...but tells me i dont have enough free memory?!
while i have 2,5 GB free.
huh?
I assume that it's a 130 MB large JPEG image? If that's so, then I guess that loading it to the RAM as a bitmap can be quite a resource hog. Can you check how much RAM XnView actually needs when you try to load the picture?
its png.
shouldve said that sorry >_>
i also cant check how much ram it needs, since it never actually starts.
just gives me a popup "not enough memory".
Tried ACDSee? Dunno, could work...
so far every app failed to open it >_>
ill just go ahead and try to convert to jpg and compress it.
maybe that helps (although quality wont be as good >_<)
What's it's resolution? o.O
Hahaha oh wow.

You could use http://www.imageconverterplus.com/ , for example, to resize it to 5% and then open it with any app.

(btw that app is payware, but has trial download)
heh, open it in paint and manually resize it
Try one of those gigapixel image viewers. Sounds like the computer is limiting, not the program availability.
Just a question whats in this pic

I just started to wonder about the same thing... Why the **** would you need a 3,542 gigapixel image?
EDIT: A bit late with my post...
EDIT 2: Try to download REA Converter and resize it... Just got that one from my bro.
Well if you get bored of trying to resize, upload it somewhere and let someone have a go at it.
OMG 83914 x 42218. Thats a whole lot of picture.
Can u not just make a smaller render lol? Surely not every render seen online is converted from a 84kx42k image...
Try to resize it with this software I made. (I made it to easily make thumnails from a lot of pics, but it MIGHT work here)

I guess that ever resizing will fail in most cases as most image manipulating tools need to load the image into the memory before they can do something with it. Perhaps you can increase your swap to like 40 GB and use a 64bit software to resize it, that might work. If you're on a 32bit OS though, I guess you'll have to get a smaller render
