Im currently in a decision to let go of my HP G61 in replace for a HP G62
my question to everyone here is, G62 has an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics card, and my G61 has a 4200 and it runs well. Both laptops have the same score on Windows Experience which are both 5.3 but can anyone tell me if the 4250 is good for LFS? thanks

Worth spending another £400 for a 10-20% speed improvement? No way.

"Good for LFS"? Absolutely. The card is not any powerful, but if you can live with low AA and AF, it'll run LFS just fine. You can't expect it to run any new games on anything else than low settings though.

The laptop G61 i have at the moment has a defective fan and the G62 is on sale for about $380 which is a deal for a laptop with good specs IMO so thats why i was asking, and im on tight budget prefer below $400 but i can squeeze below $500

anybody else?
