Your contrast sucks! THe post bodys are a nice light blue.

too much saturation set then i guess.
Not the same shade as the image. If it is to you, then you've seriously misconfigured your color settings. The RGB values are clipped beyond 1, so too much contrast most likely.
More saturation would actually make it easier to see.

This is a good wizard how to set up your screen colours nicely (at least that's what I think).
Saturation spreads the 3 RGB values of a pixel apart to create a stronger color.
If it's a little bit blue, more saturation makes it blue-er, making it easier to discern from white.
