LFS+hardware - will it work on mac?
Hi!

I am consindering buying a new laptop - a macbook pro. Though I am not sure if the following hardware and software will run on mac os. Can you help?

-> LFS - does it work somehow on mac?
-> Logitech Driving Force Pro with Wingman profiler - does that work?
-> VPP Pedals (usb) - can I make them work as well?

Thank you very much for your help

Even though LFS works with WINE you'll have to install Windows for perfect gaming experience. Running it through WINE will result in lower fps and most importantly very bad force feedback unless you manually apply some patches.

No problem on Windows, it will most likely work on MacOS X too with proper kexts.

If it's HID compliant, it will probably work too.

Is it possible to install windows on a mac with success as dual boot - or how does people solve this issue?
Yes, Windows has been working perfectly on Apple computers since the migration from Motorola to Intel CPUs.

Thanks again
Thank you very much for your help. It is much appreciated

If I install windows as dual boot then all potential problems regarding hardware (wheel+pedals) will disappear as well? (I would much regret to by a computer and afterwards realize that I will have a lot of hardware fights)
As long as you'll have proper drivers installed, your hardware should work just like on any other Windows machine.
