i read it as redtube, read it again as redtube...saw best show...got confused, clicked, and then realized after reading you "accidently typed redtube" that it diddnt say redtube.
10 O'clock Live is currently the best program on TV, by far, followed by Charlie Brookers TV ruined the world program. RudeTube is pretty good, even though the presenter is a wank.
10 o'clock show is currently the worst program on TV. Trying to be like Brasseye/Day Today but without the humour or intelligence.
Nothing worse or more cringeworthy than comedians trying to become something they are not and impose their political motives on the public. It may have worked in the 80s when alternative comedy was something new and fresh. 10 o'clock show - it's been done before... and much much better too. Funniest thing on that show however was Bob Crow's suggestion of a 1p tax on every email to cut the deficit. HILARIOUS!
The student population of the UK will lap it up of course, as I would have done when I was a child too.
Agreeed! How TV Ruined Your Life was brilliant, Newswipe and Screenwipe were hilarious! He's got a very opinionated, funny and correct view on the world that the majority of people can agree with!
Ok, despite the fact that on British TV you could have/can watch shows such as The Wire/Dexter/6 Feet Under/Mad Men/Nurse Jackie/Harry Hills TV Burp/Mastercheif etc etc....
...you think the best show is a lazy arsed run of the mill clip show showing the same clips that are sharred via emails and forums....
Far from the worst thing on TV, but I agree it is poor. The only good parts are where Brooker basically does his newswipe thing a couple of times, and David Mitchell who can write an entertaining but meaningful monologue quite well. Jimmy "Well we've found your level" Carr is not very good, and Lauren Laverne is just useless, presumably she's there to "bring the show together" or something.
Imo they should have tried to make it more like The Day Today, it's nothing like it in my opinion, in its current form. Nothing is attempting to resemble any serious news program, it's just "Mock The Week" in a different shroud with a few guests, except here they are not pretending it isn't all scripted.
