Quote from S14 DRIFT :Even if it was a rare and expensive Ferrari 250GTO or something, who really would care? Because someone either earnt or invested (irrelevant, anyway) their money and what they do with it is their business

Well, I'd care if they crushed a 250GTO, because to me it's an automotive work of art. I'm sure the 250GTO meant way more to the people who were involved with it's production than those that were involved with the Gallardo's production. There were only 39 250GTOs made. There have been over 10,000 Gallardos made.

Funny the longest reply comes from you.

People are merely having a reaction, nobody is reading that much into it......well except you.

I think it's a cool car, if it has to go, at least roll it over with a bulldozer or something, not some pesky hammers.
Quote from P5YcHoM4N :Why? Because a man with too much money and a lot of anger ruins his car? Would you care as much if it was a Ford Focus? No? Then why care because it is a Lambo? It is only rubber and tin, but an artificially inflated price tag because the manufacture has decided their cars are worth that much.

Ford has no soul. Lamborghini does. That's the difference.
Except the standard Gallardo is just a VW Phaeton with a big engine and a shortend wheelbase.

The VW Phaeton is mid-engined?
Everyone pisses on Lamborghini for making AWD cars now, it doens't make a difference to how a car makes a person feel. It's ok to like Alfa Romeo that breakdown all the time, but it's not ok to like a 4WD car, this is the stigma these days.
It's not because they're 4WD, but because most of the parts come from an A8/Phaeton.

The only Gallardo that is "special" is the Balboni special edition, the LP560-4 and the convertible one. The only Murciellago or however you spell it that is special is the 640-4 and again the convertible, and the Reventon.
and a motorcycle is just an 18 wheeler with a different chassis, body, wheels, seat, engine, and gearbox
The A8 and the Gallardo share:

4x4 system (mechanically)
Most of the heating and radio controls
canbus system
Trip computer
switch gear

So basically all of the interior aside from a few lambo badges and the dials.

Of course the body is completely different and so are the suspension/wheels but you're missing the point.

Audi share many parts with a Lamborghini, and especially the standard Gallardo is so much like a big Audi 4x4, such as a TT or an A4..

Where as a Ferrari doesn't share it's switchgear with anything other than a Ferrari. Fiat don't re-use the Trip Computer from a Stilo do they.
well in my eyes the 4x4 system...im not too familar with different systems to achieve this, but if it works it should be used may apply here, not too sure though.

heating and radio controls...i think we can agree this is minor in a car like this

canbus system, what is this

trip computer, is this like tripometer? cause thats minor too if im not mistaken?

switch gear, like how you shift it? (paddle shift if im not mistaken). same as first point i made.

You are underestimating this.

All they do is change the badge and the rims! And voilà! A Lamborghini!

yiour underestimating this

the rims add 16 hp each!

the badge in the front is an extra 34, in back 23, and on the wheel gives an extra 16 at the flywheel, but its lost by the time the wheels would see it.

I muscht say I very mucsh like your thinking.

Basicly all the damn buttons and stuff inside the lambo are from a reasonably priced family car, i wouldn't like that in my 100.000 euro supercar!
