A 90bhp TDI? What model, a go kart?
The car barely hits 60 in 14 seconds, i'm not believing it does it in 16 seconds, not standard anyway.
Klutch, just a daft automatic and he was "running in" his turbo, he wore a baseball cap....
Any pics of it Jamie? I'm after either a 2.0 TDI 140 A3 of Mk5 next, I like the A3's a bit more but my GF likes the golf. Also seem to get more stuff as standard with the A3.
Anyway, as for the clutch, my flywheel is fecked, my idle is like a bag of spanners, but it's smooth as hell when driving and the clutch never slips. It's also quite rough when reversing (like you described) new clutch is on the cards if i'm keeping it for another 6 months.
Nathan, best way to know what flywheel they have is that they started with the PD engines (2000's+)
Blueflame, i've no idea what dragstrip you go to, or how much of a downhill it's on, but the TDI in the video I posted has about 300bhp and that's doing 13.6. How on earth is someone doing 11 seconds with 270bhp? I call bullshit.
