A great Shockwave game would be Clever Media's Star Conquest I used to play for HOURS!

All this talk of Death Race reminded me of a Mod for BF1942 called Interstate '82 Mod, they had two maps that came with it called Death Race that where so much fun people started a whole second community around building maps that where based on this idea. A race where you would try to get to the end without killing yourself. Some great times could be had with that mod.

A current game would be WarZone 2100, that works on ANY os.

DOS, and simple and sweet. Not to mention that drivers could actually die. This is a great learning platform to Grand Prix Manager 2 and Grand Prix World.

AoE 2, Red Alert 1, Need For Speed 1, Viper Racing (Saturday nights were leave tiff alone nights and let her have the dial-up) and Gamespy Arcade chats were fairly addiciting. So much hilarity. Like the forum except everyone had a lerts moment at least 7 times a night.

+1, Richard Burns Rally needed long SSs' and the simulation of a 90 car field to be better than this game.
