If it jumps fine then it's the battery, common sense would tell you that.

Sorry i got confused before, i didn't jump start it, i bump started it. Not sure if it makes a difference.

Ill try swapping the battery to see if its that, but if its not what else could it be?

just simply hook a meter on and see if it gets around 14 volts. but even tho the volt is good the amps could be low.but if u jumpstartit and starter still wont turn over thats not battery issue.starter does not get power. get a test light,and have some1 crank it for you,if it gets power there then u need starter,if not than could be anything,from relay to alarm etc.

To check your starter get some jump leads and a battery (you can use the one on the car, I choose not to). Connect jump leads to battery, place live terminal on one of the terminals on the starter, place the earth on the casing of the starter (if you used the car battery, then on any bit of metal). If you hear it operate try the next, if it operates again- one terminal will drive the motor, one will operate the ram, so you'll get "WIZZZZZZ" and "THUNK" respectivly- you have a connection issue. If you don't hear anything, the starter is toast.
