Why is it so hard to survive turn 1? Checkout these two replays.... Did I do anything wrong?

Shit happens, in the 2nd one you may have braked a bit too hard too early, but nothing to get rammed for really. It happens to everyone.

Always works on Aston classics - Stay behind, don't try to take over anyone, I have won many races like that, and I have received even more 3rd etc. places with that.

Yep good advice.
The race is won at the finishing post and lost (sometimes) at the 1st turn.

Assuming you don't get loads of restarts (it's s sim after all not an arcade game) then it's the way to go until you get a good feel for it.

Me? - I hate restarts even if I crash out on the 1st corner. I prefer the realism of no restarts and that make all (hopefully) race all the better.

Opinion anyone?
