dear fellow LFS users

i have some major problems with my connection

i looses connection after a few minutes every time
my internet still works cuz there's no interuption in my radio player
I dont have a clu what could be the problem and i hope you could help me

Does this happen every time you connect to a server or just in several particular servers?

IIRC, usually this happens if your connection has a high packet loss/high jitter. But according to your pingtest results these are not an issue.

Maybe try taking the pingtest a couple of times as soon as you loose connection to a sever - maybe there will be a variation...

Does you use any other programs that access the internet while your connected, other than the internet radio? Does anyone else in your household use internet in another PC (maybe a brother downloading stuff / sister chatting on facebook? - I don't know, maybe they might be the cause. Usually they wont get in the way of LFS ... :shrug

Best thing to try using LFS when only you're using the internet connection & use only LFS (without any other application; MSN, the radio, downloads running...)
