In reply to your inital post, I think everyone has a racer that they respect more as their "hero" and even your hero has a hero. Thats the thing about LFS, some racers that I know and have raced with before, I'll be more agressive or more polite, but unknown racers/teams, I'll usually be more defensive which is part of the fun of racing.
