First, think that original thread that Scawen made should be really kept clean of idiotic things, and kept on track to what he's implementing now.
So, best way is to have spinoff thread with all the mumbo-jumbo and other trash talk

It's been a long, long time since any progress that we've seen has been made.

I do appreciate Scawen making these changes, and especially posts he made in last few days.

But, this is what should have been happening years ago too!!

My point is, if it continues like this, this is awesome way... and I sure hope it continues like this.

What I'm afraid of though is - this patch comes out, and silence again.. for years...

I just found out Z26 is from 09. so erald does make a good point. So this new test patch should be good with the track thing

2. The 3 developers have been working on tyre physics so let them work.

Don't confuse patches coming out with work restarting. Scawen has been working for the last few years on the tyres and physics, but with nothing to release it looks as though no progress was made. We'll reap the rewards in time.

He told us already that he will become quiet again when he finishes this patch because he will start again doing maths and boring stuff.
