When i go to use lfstweak and i press apply, it just freezes and stops responding. How can i fix this?

Yes it is for z28!!!
Even the mods for just a certain car freeze and do the same!!!!

Sounds like you're entering too big a value. Try small numbers.
e.g - 0.123 can change to 2.123 before you start getting problems.

Also remember that typing 500 into the "horsepower" box doesn't mean you'll get 500hp, it just glitches tweak. Don't go over the top with the numbers.

Can I also say... Make sure to be using commas instead of full stops.

For example:
0,123 =
0.123 = a big, fat nooooo.
