KICK! TEFAF 2011
The European Fine Art Fair is back in Maastricht, meaning a lot of rich people will come to Maastricht for their pots & pans. Reason enough for me to go check it out!
That's it for now, might go back once more to take some more pics.
I've just seen one of these cruise by the city this morning...it's amazing the noise it makes, even when it's idle! (Picture NOT taken by me...damn batteries)
seen a pretty cool '90 Suzuki Swift Convertible today, build by a fellow student, running a GTi engine with some mild modding, now running up to 10k rpm and producing a healthy 140hp. After his wording its the first conversion of this kind in Germany, our TÜV makes stuff like this very difficult.
Took my camera to Maastricht again.
AMV8 Vantage Roadster (saw 3 of them that day)
According to 1 of the hotel's employees these cars where from an oldtimer rally, came here to spend the night in one of Maastricht's most expensive hotels.
And this, Talk 'bout fitment. I'm against visiting these parking garages for cars, but my mate insisted, I'm glad we did!
Nice cars! I was in that very parking garage last month, but nothing special there then.
This weekend is the Historic Ren Club at Zandvoort featuring alot of classic race cars. Too bad I forgot my camera. I'll head over tomorrow again to make some pics.
Saw the worlds fastest toyota yaris today, 620bhp RWD!
Saw it driving into the MOT station I was at and thought "Look at this dumb riced up pos" and then as it strolled by I noticed the engine in the back...
2.0 MR2 engine, monster of a thing, the guy who built it is into old cars so it has bits of everything all over it, like the rear arches are from a MK2 escort, front grill from a megane etc..
Does 9 seconds 1/4 mile, he's had it at just over 200mph, but the nose starts to lift at 170, crazy bastard. Amazing little machine though, but over 100 grand to do this...no thanks!
It's now a show car, he's got quite a lot of show cars too so the guy does it right!
