I have a logitech wingman force 3d and im using the FFshifter 10 beta 03. i made the fields and every thing but when I try to use it in lfs it doesnt work can some one help me???

You have to set the keyboard outputs (FFShifter outputs keyboard strokes) to the appropriate gears. E - 1st gear, S - 2nd gear, as necessary. Don't be tricked. The outputs are not ctrlr based.

Hi all!

I'm thinking of buying a cheap wheel for the pedals and a FFB joystick for a shifter. Have a few questions 1st
Will the joystick act like a real shifter where it centres while in neutral and stays in gear when you put it in gear?
RSC Forums are down so has anyone got a link/download for FFShifter and maybe a tutorial on how to set it up to work with LFS?

Yeah, the joystick works also great for flying, if you're interested in that. Because FFB is activated by a light sensor, I had that paper thing around it in the video, right now I'm having a cloth strapped to it. I'm using its throttle lever as a handbrake! (Btw, my plate file is included in the upload, since I just took the folder)

No problem! But it's like 3 years ago, when I bought it (originally for MSFS2004/X), no clue for how much - I guess the prices have changed alot.

Just saw on ebay and prices are quite steep :/ If i can get one for under £30 then ill get it. Some of these have gameport connectors and someone said that the force feedback will not work if i have to use a usb converter. Is yours USB and if it uses a gameport does your force feedback still work with a converter in?

It's one USB plug and one normal plug for power supply, should work!

44,5€ Sounds fair, I don't know what other joysticks cost, though. But don't you get a real shifter of wheels like G25 for that price?

THIS guy is selling G27 shifters for a lump sum. you would still need THIS adapter, but together it would cost more than a FF joystick.

if you still want to go the FFshifter route, I have a Logitech Wingman Force 3D (missing the knob, because I used it as a shifter, but later moved the shift knob to a new FFshifter so you just need some sort of shifter knob to attach to it) and a Logitech Wingman Strike Force 3D (updated version of the force 3d) in the box for sale if the price is right. Just make me an offer for either one

I doubt it. It doesn't say anything about force feedback specifically, and I haven't heard of any 3rd party FF sticks... stick to namebrand if you wanna be safe

How much does your strike force weigh in packaging? Ill try and work out the price for postage

Can anyone make a small tutorial on how to set up FFShifter when i get my joystick? Also can i set the buttons on the joystick to commands on LFS?

For the Logitech Wingman Strike Force 3D (essentially brand new in orig. box) I currently have someone else contacting me for $30 + shipping, so I will see if that goes through well. If not I can sell you this one.

If the other deal goes through, I still have the Logitech Wingman Force 3D that needs a shifter knob, and I can get that to you for REALLY cheap. Probably $15 + shipping. Both work great, this one is a little smaller (the body) which makes it fit in small spots

I saw some really nice carbon fiber ones on amazon for like $12, and also some authentic Japanese Bubble shifters on ebay for like $15. I would try looking at a junk yard, local shops, and what I just said

I found out it will weigh about 4 pounds to ship it in a secure box and bubble wrap. let me know how much it will cost to ship
