I think finding a team will be more successful if you look around the teams section and see which teams are recruiting at the moment and then find out how you can apply for a spot, rather then just state you're looking for a team and wait for one to come knocking at your door.

And joen is right. Finding a team mostly works by joining servers, showing some fine racing and asking some other team members for a membership.

Also maybe as it is your first team (yes/no?), perhaps a new team that is setting up. you may find you will be more successful with applying for a new team then one that has been around abit which will have set standards of entry
