i allways get annoyd when i see threads caled 'new BOV!!!'

i think it would be better if evryone posted their BOV sound in one place

Here's my HKS SSQV that i was using (gunna use yours for a bit now). I didn't make it but it's very loud and pretty damn accurate, but the looping sucks

I've got the a valve that chatters, think its a soundclip from some sort of HKS valve:

Once downloaded, what do you do?

Put the file in your /LFS/DATA/SND directory.

Backup your original "dumpvalve.raw" sound file so you can go back to it. I usually just rename it to "dumpvalve(old).raw". Put the new file in your SND directory as i mentioned and it should be right to go. You need to restart the game.

Yeah, You put it in the engine folder, And when you want to use it just Load the BOV sound.

Instead of SND, which is way more handy.

like this, you see the tube to the BOV

waste gate is what keeps the boost at a certain psi along with the boost controller or running off waste gate spring and is located on the turbo manifold near the turbo. the blow off valve is on the charge pipe usually by the intake and throttle body and when ur in boost and let off the gas it opens so the boost drops going into the intake cuz the turbo is still spinning and producing boost right after you let off the gas so it doesnt lean out the motor and blow it up. to much air and not enough gas is very bad.
