Hey guys, my g27 got mailed to me last thursday, and since then i've been riding around happily in both LFS and Dirt 3. However, since last night, while I was playing LFS with a friend of mine, I went into the pits, braked, then stopped. Once I stopped, my LEDs started blinking, as if it was gonna calibrate, then, when I'm in start>config>gamecontrollers, and I press any button on my wheel or shifter, it start doing something that triggers the FFB to move, well, it did the exact same thing while being in LFS, standing still, doing nothing. Then, some seconds later, it stopped, and my FFB was gone, and the LEDs worked for me instead, but they normally don't, which I think is because of LFS itself. The way I fixed this was to actually just relog to the server, but it wouldn't last for a long time, because after a few stops, it happened again. Also, I set my FFB strength to 150% in the start>config>gamecontrollers menu only to test it out for once, and even if i was standing still in LFS, my FFB would go from left to right, at a total of 90degrees, which sucked, because i simply couldn't drive properly, and i've tested it with 4 or so cars. After this, sometimes it went from 100% to 150% automatically, without me changing it, so i had to tab out, and change it to 100% again. I was like screw this, imma play some Dirt 3 instead. Well, I was playing some Dirt 3 the rest of the evening, until my friend left, so I waved him goodbye. Went upstairs, restarted Dirt 3, and I noticed that my FFB was acting really crappy. Like, if i spun the wheel 10 degrees to the right, the FFB would only work every 2 degrees or so, and it made one hell of a noise, which really didn't sound like it supposed to be. Anyone out there that had this problem before? Because I'm not that much of a hero if it comes to settings up things like this with software, but I did reinstall the software, and followed every step properly. Hope to hear something soon!

TL;DR: G27 is being a bitch with FFB.
Hi Cydro!

I never tryed my g27 at 100% FFB ... it would just rip my hands off!

The far i go is 40% but normaally i use it on 30-35% and i already get some strong kicks on it!

I dont know how you configured your wheel but this is what you should do:

On the Logitech Profiler (software) you must create a new profile only for LFS (File/New). Then you edit the profile (Edit/Specific Game Setting). Unselect all the options, enable the "use special wheel steering settings", and choose the degrees you want to use (this must be the same value as the one you will config on LFS options menu) ...

On the LFS menu:
Goto LFS Options/Control and config your G27
Set the degrees value to the same value as you did in Logitech profiler, and when you config the Axes/FF dont forget to set "Force Feedback" and "Remove Dead zones" to YES.

I use it like this and works perfectly!

Have fun!
