During a league race today a bizarre pit bug occured to my team-mate as he stopped into his pit stall for a damage repair.
After making a spin and collecting damage on both the right front and right rear suspension, the driver makes a pit stop on the same lap to repair the damage. After stopping in the pit box, there is an initial period where the car is serviced normally, but approximately two seconds after the pit stop is made, both right side suspensions suffer moderate lower wishbone damage.
Incident demonstrated via YouTube, timecode 0:28:-

I can't really think why it would do this, but one thing to note was his input of throttle slightly preceding the incident. The damage isn't suffered immediately upon service, but when throttle is applied, less than half of a second later the damage is inflicted. I know an spr of such an incident would be a lot more appreciated but if anyone else has experienced this or if it's a known bug, then it would save a lot of time.
So soon after a patch change, this is a suspicious incident. Nevertheless, the incident is there so it would be appreciated to get some clarification on that or fix as it was a very costly incident and potentially important to anyone it happens to.
Unfortunately the race replay is too big to attach and I'm unsure if mpredit will work on this updated LFS version, so thought it would be better to post the whole replay:
