What is the official max. file name length for th /cfg, /welcome etc. parameters?

We have multiple servers. My idea was: we will have one directory for the dedicated server binaries and multiple dirs for each server for storing cfg-s, welcome texts and host specific things.

Eg. this is too long: D:\LFS_Servers\DEMO\Prequal\setup.cfg which is only 37 characters.

This also doesn't work: /mprdir D:\MPR\Test
The error is: Could not create the MPR folder
This folder is there and is writeable.
