A friend of mine just got a FF GP, used, and the force feedback doesn't appear to work. He downloaded the latest profiler and installed it, got all the appropriate settings right both in there and in LFS, but still nothing through the wheel.

Is there anything obvious we might've missed? Could it be a driver issue, and if so, what would be the fix? It may well be a dead wheel, but it'd be nice to find out for sure.

i had the same problem with my logitech wingman ff gp and couldnt seem to fix it either

it was about 2 or 3 years old before it happened though,
i think it just deteriorates over time,
it served me well in LFS

mind you, i still used it in LFS for a year or more,
everything else worked perfect except force feedback so i didnt really care

p.s. if you really need FF the logitech momo wheel is very similar and quite cheap nowadays to buy new.($130 AUD)

I own one myself,and I have no problems with the FF. Bought it for about 3-4 years ago. Try to reinstall the profiles,and re-calibrate it? Or re-calibrate the wheel in LFS?
