I have been through this skins section but I can't find the answer!!

How do you get the skin on the car?

I can upload a skin to LFSWORLD and I can see it in the on-line skins thing. But then what? How do I get it onto my car?

I imagine there's something I'm doing wrong.

I expected it to just become available in the list when you are in the garage.

Still confused!

Go to file/ open, browse to your LFS/data/skins folder and choose a default skin (plain white) for the car you wish to paint. Click Ok.

This seems to be empty on my PC.

Go to www.lfsworld.net log in using your username and password
Double click "my online car skins"
Click browse
Find your jpeg image of the skin (in no more than 1024 x 1024)
Click upload skin
Go online and enjoy everyone seeing your skin (Yes, yes, but how?)

All fine until last point. As I said before, once I have uploaded a skin

What do you mean? there is no such folder?

You have to put your skin in there. Then go ingame, go to the garage and look left side - car colour. there you can select a uni-color paint or select a skin

PS. important is, the skin you uploaded to lfsw must have the same name

I knew it had to be something simple.

You have to manually put your skins in the data/skins file AND THEN they are automatically in the list of available skins as with the default ones.
