I don't know where to put this thread in, so I've done it here.

Is it possible (maybe with InSim or Admincontrols) to set up a waiting list for Autocross courses?
What it should do?

When more than one driver wants to enter an Autocross course, only one can join. After then the start is blocked. Now it would be cool, if all other driver could set them on a waiting list, so that they will join imediatly when start is free. That would provide people from clicking all the time on "join" and sometimes have 2 cars into another at starting point?!

Also can you set the starting time manually? That it always takes just 5 seconds untill startinglights going green?

This is a good idea i think. Maybe a bit like the queue position when you are waiting to join a server.

The devs used a queue system on autox courses when they ran LX Month. I think, iirc, once you joined the server you were entered into the queue, when it was your go you got an invite to the track, you then either joined or canceled so the next person could go.

So your suggestion has already been used in LFS, just not sure why the devs haven't put this into LFS permanently, because this is probably one of the most annoying autox bugs.

Yupp, spent half of the evening now to find some external Program which does exactly what we had in the LX Month. That would really be a nice feature, especially when you want to host a competition. I´d really like to see that in one of the future Updates. I mean, it worked for the LX Month, so it is probably a stable feature?

I have it implemented in my autocross program to prevent cars stacking at the start, but it can't do a waiting list in the sense that anyone can join after the previous car has started. Note that it's not updated for the current version of insim.
