The International Grand Touring Championship is proud to announce the 2011 season schedule!

Though we initially wanted a three-week gap between each round, scheduling around LFSCART, etc, made that impossible. Therefore we're back to a traditional once-a-month (mostly) arrangement.

This season we have moved the raceday schedules back by two hours to make things easier on our Finnish and Eastern European drivers. All race weekends will begin with 30 minutes of "hardcore" qualifying at 16:00 UTC. Qualifying will be followed by a 20-minute open practice session from 16:30 to 16:50 UTC. Gridding will begin at 16:50 UTC, and races will start at 17:00 UTC.

IGTC 2011 Season Schedule:

1. 18th June, Kyoto International Reverse (KY31R), Cloudy Morning
   
2. 16th July, Fern Bay Classic (FE25), Overcast Dusk
   
3. 13th August, Blackwood Historic (BL11), Cloudy Afternoon
   
4. 10th September, Aston Sportscar Circuit (AS28), Clear Day

** Layouts will be provided for all tracks (see attachments and hyperlinks in the schedule). FE25 will use an added layout at the FE2 chicane to improve passing and reduce accidents.
*** Wind conditions for each round will be announced 24 hours prior to the time of the race. These conditions will be determined by generating a random number from 1-20 (www.random.org). If the number is even, there will be no wind. If the number is odd, low wind will be used.

p.s., we understand that some drivers may have concerns about using FE25 for an endurance race. However, with the addition of the new, slower chicane and the oval loop, we feel it's sufficiently slowed and reasonably flip-free to make it work out ok. It might feel more like a V8 Supercar race than a Le Mans series race, but it should be fun and exciting.

Hi everyone,

Despite my best efforts in devising the schedule for this season, it appears that I let one conflict slip through: both the IGTC and LFSCART final rounds are on September 3rd.

Since the LFSCART schedule was released before the IGTC schedule, and since I know many drivers signed up for IGTC are active in LFSCART, I'd like to propose moving the IGTC finale back one week to September 10th. Does anyone have a substantive objection to this change?
