There is no way half of those leaders are on the right side of the economic scale.

-1.25 , -1.18

I usually agree with Republican (Right) ideas more than Democrat's (Left) even though I'm basically centered.

I've actually found that alot of American Republicans are right around that area (not knowing about those who actually enter Congress or even run for office, but your everyday person who identifies himself as a Republican in many cases is right in that area. Found this out on a predominetly American forum (utanks.com forums)
Quote from Cornys :lol I wasn't where I thought I was. I just took the time to take the test:

just goes to show that politics is as much about the marketing, if not more, than actual policy. Funny, we're in the same quadrant of the same quadrant, but I've always trended Democrat.

I wanted to be like Hitler.
Gandhi
I wish people would educate themselves about M. Gandhi, he was not a nice man.

I am tired of this man being held up as being more than what he was to some Indian people.

Otherwise, he was a racist of the first order and if you really delve into this mans past you will see that he was less than average morally, a killer, a racist and possibly a sexual pervert.

I for one will not use his name in the same context as those that have done good and great work to make this world a better place.

Gandhi, go to hell.

Quote from Intrepid :I think most people would consider themselves left of centre economically and socially. Nothing unusual there. Younger people tend to be more left-wing in that sense, until they've spent a life paying taxes which don't amount to much, hence why right-wing types are older.

You are almost correct. There are more liberals in the younger generation, this is because many older people have older fashioned views.

Quote from Rygin :I wish people would educate themselves about M. Gandhi, he was not a nice man.

I am tired of this man being held up as being more than what he was to some Indian people.

I don't know of any sexual perversion, other than his weird fashion sense, but I don't think he was any more racist than other people in similar political positions in that era so I don't judge him on that.

Instead I judge him on the terrible failure that he was, the seperation of Pakistan from India was a terrible mistake because it has led to conflict and it was Gandi who let that happen - even though he himself knew it would lead to the situation we are in today.

I also think it was stupid for Pakistan, you only need to look at the comparable economies and social morality of the two nations to see the effect of antidisestablishmentarianism in action after only 50 years. It stands as a shining example that going too far to the right will leave your country well and truly ****ed.
Gandhi liked sex with young children (10-12), but the argument was always "that is normal for the area/time". Hardly a good argument if he is a great moral leader. He also had a huge thing for enemas. He felt that daily flushes cleansed the soul.

Incidentally, I'd be interested to hear what you have to say (or what you've been told to say) about mother Theresa.

that's not allowed in politics

you have to be extreme to one direction or the other, didn't you get the memo?
I'm taking the test now, and I just stumbled upon this: "A significant advantage of a one-party state is that it avoids all the arguments that delay progress in a democratic political system."

It's true! I don't prefer a one-party state, but the statement is correct. I wonder what other shite I can expect from this test...
