I was bit like "no shit" when I yesterday read this and in the same news there was a mention about that FIA will ban TC in 2008. It's about damn time to do that, of course they shouldn't even have allowed it in the first place. TC must be the stupiest invent ever in motorsport.

They never wanted Traction control, it was the same situation we now have with flexi wings. Either they tighten the legislation or they allow them, in the case of traction control they allowed it...basically because Ferrari had it but exploited a loop hole so the FIA couldn't punish them.

So i hope they get they make sure teams comply fully with these new rules, because it seems to me common sense is finally coming into F1. (apart from microsoft ECU's)

^^ In all seriousness I still think they're getting it wrong in making the cars into basically a one make formula with some mild variation between the different cars. This was so obvious at Goodwood today, all the modern cars basically looked the same go through one of the historic paddocks and it's a different story...
