Realistic NASCAR will be holding a one time demolition derby type event on AU1 Tuesday August 23rd @ 16:30 GMT on Realistic NASCAR 500. This event will be 4 races each being 15 Laps in the RB4. This event is expected to last around 45 min. Pictures of the layout (note: Picture of the final turn turn was taken before the ramps were implemented)
This will be a figure 8 configuration. The layout is attached for all to practice on off line if they so desire.
This being a demolition derby type event means that you are expected to remain on the track (disabled car or not) until the completion of the event. Those cars still running are expected to avoid these disabled cars.
The following things will not be tolerated:
-Backwards driving (auto spec.)
-Taking out a driver intentionally (Small amounts of contact entering the turns is expected, but only from cars fighting for the same position)
-Timing interchange in order to create contact
-Causing a driver to spin intentionally (once again, small amounts of contact are expected on such a layout entering turns, but excessive amounts will be monitored.

1st - 10pts
2nd - 7pts
3rd - 5pts
4th - 4pts
5th - 3pts
6th - 2pts
7th - 1pt
Finishing race 1 lap down - .5pt (1/2pt)
Finishing race on lead lap - 1pt
Best Lap in an individual race - 1pt
Best Lap of all 4 races - 1pt
In the event of a tie, there will be a 5 lap shoot out between the drivers tied for the championship after the 4th event. Only drivers that have the same points total as the points leader will be permitted to participate in this shootout should it be required.
