I really help someone can help me please!

Whilst modding GTA IV i made the novice mistake of not backing up files, and as a result part of the game is messed up.

what I need is the original frontend_360.wtd files found in Rockstar Games/Grand Theft Auto IV/pc/textures

all the GTA forums are a pain to register for so thought someone here may be able to help me.

Seems like you won't be modding anymore eh.

I personally think it's a license problem, more like it has not been deactivated properly during uninstall. If that is not the case I would suggest clean reinstall with removal of all content coming with GTA4 and then install the following again. Also the old version (Have you patched it?) can be the issue but I doubt that.

I've already tried deleting all gta data (although i keep the save games file)

i will try install again though, this is really annoying!
When installed I patch to 1.0.7.0 i think but I can't see how this woould block the game as it was running fine yesterday..?

Now I think about it I remember some message coming up about seCUROM or SeRom (?) or similar saying that it wasnt working properly, but I was given now way to rectify it

1. uninstall GTA IV
2. run this: http://download.securom.com/support/removal_tool.zip
3. after it completed cleaning SuckuROM files, reinstall GTA IV
4. reinstall latest patch
5. profit :]
