Realistic NASCAR's World TBO Championship Series
Round number one of Realistic NASCAR's World TBO Championship Series will take the green flag with the Japanese 250 around 16:05 GMT. The field for this round should be around 22 cars (29 are currently signed-up). Tomorrow's 34 lap race on KY3R should run without a pitstop for those who run without trouble and are wise with their tires.

Sorry, no feed due to lack of funding, help and tallent, but I assure you that there will be nothing short of a great race today .

We're an entirely new event organizing and promoting body, so you'll see that we run things a little bit different from the rest, but we know what we're doing

We are on LFSremote, and the replays will be uploaded ASAP to this post Being that the cost of putting on this series was $0.00 we couldn't do any better.

Hope you enjoy the races

#76 E. Chong takes the pole, and after 3 laps leads #16 A. Pavars by 2.77 seconds. #36 J. Holmes in 3rd is 3.50 seconds behind.
I failed... also at the moment I am sick so focusing to race wasn't easy... however, in qualify I lost 4 seconds to leat so I did not lost much even I had to DNF
With 15 laps to go, and there having been a total of 0 yellow flags, #76 E. Chong (who just ran his fastest lap of the race with a 2:51.45) continues to lead #16 A. Pavars by 8.51 seconds and #2 N. Dakovic by 13.74 Seconds
And... who won the race?
Elton! I believe he never gave up lead.
Very enjoyable event, even though I had 0 practice coming into this.

Qualified only 6th for the same reason , but the start went well and I had some great fun racing kart andro, and fabiano who had real strong pace on high fuel in his fxo machine.

With 35 laps in hand on this huge track, there was plenty of time to learn.
Chasing andro was good fun, but when he decided that his tires had enough of pounding i saw my chance. Setting the fastest lap of the race at that time was a special treat. With 4 laps to go I saw my tires had enough of pounding. Made an unscheduled stop and came back in 2nd.

I wanna say that I expected some stronger opposition from FXO drivers... and very unlucky for kart to see him disconnect from what was probably a podium, surely top 5 finish. I'm very happy with my result considering the amount of practice.

Bring on the rest of the season.

It would have been an awesome event, if not my wheels shift paddles, and the fact that I was the only one driving RB4.

The problem with my wheel was that when I pressed the paddle to downshift, it sometimes shifted 2 gears instantly, so I overreved the engine... After few overrevs, my opponents became much faster... IE in start/finish straight XRT overtaked me like I wasn't going on full throthle or like I was driving with air restriction...
Quote from N I K I :I expected some stronger opposition from FXO drivers...

On those long straights FXO was no match - XRTs were quite faster.

The strongest FXO driver is 1.5-2sec off of pace on every combo according to his LFSW stats, so if we take off 2 sec from his fastest lap (not 1.5, because it's a really long track) we end up with what would have matched XRT's fastest lap. So I wouldn't blame restrictions for lack of pace.

Story of my race ^^ Next time I'll train
came in 20 mins before qual, did my first laps, then 3 hotlaps in qual and started race without a prepared race setup.. :/ but it was fun, fight with temperature and my tyre blow up in lucky place - last corner... so, it was good for me, i'll try to be prepared for next race! Thanks for organising.
Official Results are attched to the LFS World news entry. Point Standings will be posted starting next week once there is more than one race in the books.
Next race will be on Blackwood if I am not mistaken? Sunday 25th of September with same qualifying and racestart times?

This race was a good one, hope next one will be even better: smaller track
No, Aston North Course at 15:30 GMT on September 25th.
Qualifying will be beginning in 24 min!
And early spin and a yellow flag between the leaders (2 and 76) has given the lead over to the #88. The 2 and 76 are making headway (with the safe use of the bumper at times). The race is nearly half way complete. It's been exciting so far!
