Plus if he drove his cars a bit faster, he would see all the flaws that they don't even notice.
Some of those bugs were found in less than a day. It makes me wonder how much testing they do. I remember in 2008/2009 they have an actual alpha team that did quite a bit of the testing. Obviously they still have one in some form because of the videos that are released before the product, and you see 30 cars on track. It makes me wonder, how those 30 people, plus the creator himself miss all of these issues.
The NTM is wrong with tire heat comparing to grip. The colder the tire, even coldest possible, is still faster than optimum temperatue.
No. The tires have warmers. The tires are not being pushed hard enough to retain heat, and therefore get slower.
Umm? That's not the case at all. The tires are heating up from optimum temperature and going slower. However if we stop on track for 10 minutes, we will go 1.5 seconds faster than any time so far.
Agreed.
What he said.
What tire model is he driving?
Guys I bet there is a perfect reason why he said that. iRacing and Dave K are trying to make the best sim out there, just give them time. If you are just going to complain the whole time, stop paying.
Perfect replication in my eyes.
Yeah the business model is poor. The fact that DK basically just praises himself in that post by using some physics terms doesn't excite me. Most of the stuff he posted didn't correlate to what we currently have. Sure, in the future we would want that, but who wouldn't? The sim is missing so many key physics features, maybe that is why word of mouth isn't as fast? Maybe that's why they have to over-advertise to stay afloat?
People wonder why LFS never advertises. Welcome to the sim of advertisement.
Ugh... American companies...
