problem with Creat own server
Hey Guys,

i want to race with an friend for a race 1 on 1.

when i click on " creat server " i write the Name and password for the server and if he trying to connect -> " time limit exceeded ".

and if he creat's a server and i will connect it's the same massage.

cuz why ? i have to buy an server that i can play 1on1 online ?

Basically, you or your friend (who ever is hosting the game) need to open their ports (port forwarding) in thier router.

A quick guide on what you should do can be found on the LFS Manual: http://en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/H ... rwarding_.2F_Home_Routers

What you should do is the same, but the process varies from one router to another.

First find out the correct make and model of your router and then go to http://portforward.com/ and find what steps that you should take...

(Find your router make/model, click skip the advert (top right of screen), from the list of software select "Live for Speed server" and then you'll see the exact steps that you need to take).

I still remember my first time; it took ages Have fun!

Edit: No need to buy a server (unless your planning on letting a lot of people connect). Simply set up port forwarding and you'll be fine if you've got a good connection.
