I need help, i've seen people make videos inside of LFS as smooth as in Half-life 2, like saving a demo to AVI, with costum camera angles etc.

I also want to know how i can make my own camera angle inside my car when driving!

To record footage from LFS save a replay (or do it live), press Shift+U to enter the Freeviewing-god-camera-mode/Editor thingy. From there there are different options for creating views etc. Pressing V will toggle the view to a blimp type thing.

Using Fraps or alternatives, set a hotkey to record and press it when you want to record.

Someone told me, Fulir (forgive the spelling) told me that to record at 0.125 speed will give great results and there is lots of information that can be found by searching the Movies forum section, also check out this thread...

It depends on your computer. Most computers should only have to capture at 0.250 speed. And, my computer captures fine at 0.5 speed.

Totally, the last movie I made I tried using the methods described here and got some amazing results outta my crapness of a pc!
