What is wrong with this chart?
is it too monochromatic, or is the number of total Ky oval laps out by a factor of 10 billion?

AS Grand Touring Reversed for President, that's what I say.

Well firstly I'm not complaining about the fact there are so many oval laps, the oval is a brilliant invention in LFS. The LFS version of oval racing is basically for those who can't or don't want to do proper racing to go and spend hours and hours doing thousands of miles in their oval servers and create so many obscure, daft and unrealistic rules that they'll ban you for anything. Thank god half these n00b ends aren't causing problems in real servers.

I guess BL counts demo laps as well, I'd actually like to see more Blackwood servers in something other than FOX/GTR/GTI.

I would like to see more interesting combos coming up but I think a lot of people will run from them because they know there will be a level playing field and they don't have a perfect setup and thousands of laps experience. I'm not worried about this because I'm never quick in anything
I know what you mean, but I've been pleasantly surprised recently with people running a few diferent ones like Ky Nat rev in a few mixes, and So town rev, etc. etc. Actually raced more new combos in the past 7 days than since the first weeks of S2. You get that embarassing message up on the server: Al Heeley new personal best at 8 minutes 20 secs........

a nice time for the RAC at The RING
If you have a look there are tons of server running alternative combos, I just had a quick peek and found, for example:

lx4+lx6 @ fe black rev
fox @ as ground touring
rb4 @ fe rally x
fz5 @ as gt rev
mrt @ ky nat rev

and thats just from the first 25 servers in the list, so, it's basically up to the clients to play the ball.

kIK ba;; plx
mrt @ ky nat rev? lol, maybe not

And WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE run a rally server THAT ISN'T RB4 (the recent BF1 fun exluded). LX4 rally is for real men.
Quote from Bob Smith :mrt @ ky nat rev? lol, maybe not

uh, i guess you're right. maybe 30 seconds per lap on the oval isnt that much fun. but you get my point ..
LX4 FE rallyxrev now on the ZT server ([ZT] Westfalenring)
We had that a couple of times already though, and it's fun even with keyboard
I just wonder why oval people never race the reverse one.(only 50000 laps)

Learning a new track is to much for the average oval racer

You are using the word "track" a bit loosely there.
Remember that one lap at Blackwood is something like two or three laps on KY Oval.

yeah, victor should implement some kind of 'time spent on track' chart as well

...LX4 rally is for real men.

I have a terrible suspicion the real men are out out boozing and shagging loose women...

Yeah you totally missed that point dude:

You@BF1 - Oval:

4 laps, 7.5 Mls - and a 32.97 pb

man you know what youre talking about...

Yupp we are all stupid people with a only left turnable steering wheels...

my suggestion: people with this attitude dont even have a clue what really matters on the oval and/or cant do proper races on oval -> lack of practice or whatever.

I don't know about that, but at least one of you is lacking a sense of humour.

yeah maybe its me but i have to say that there are only a few PURE oval racers and i dont like to see people saying everybody that drives the oval is a pure oval racer and they cant handle the allmighty skillfull road tracks.

That discussion will def never come to a end and im sorry when i hopped into this conversation with only this bad point but its making me sick

No problem. You know how it is: some people like chocolate, some people like strawberry. You guys must be enjoying those oval races or you wouldn't do it so much, so more power to you.

when i first got S2 i really got into the oval (back in the Q days, the FO8 is for real men!), did a few laps (read 1000 :schwitz and got my PB down to something like 35.2, which wasn't slow, the WR was in the 34.5 range iirc, and generally could keep up with most of the [FM] team when they werent in a 10 mile long chain of bumpdrafters, but then you held an event (well, 2 mini ones) with UF1/FE1 & XFR/ASNat, and the [FM] team were there, so was i and a few others, but back then i really did suck (now i only plainly suck!) and would be lucky to finish ~6th in an ordinary race, but i went along never the less, first race i came 2nd, while the nearest FM guy came 3rd or 4th, and in the next one i came 3rd, and iirc you won, but the FM guys were once again towards the end of the finishers, and remember, im just a n00b, and you all have 20 million miles under your belt, so surely seeing as you "can do more tracks than just the oval" i should of been thrashed?

Well forgive me i dont understand what youre going for besides that what does this means "i should of been thrashed?" is that somekind of phrase or what?
