Provisionals will be awarded to drivers who sign-up for them more than 12 hours before the start of a round. The award for a provisional will be a fourth (1/4) of a driver's average points earnings per round in the previous rounds (including those not attended), but the maximum points payout will be 4 points per round, and the minimun will be 1 unless a competitor has not competed yet. (We'll round to the closest whole number otherwise).

Should a driver have not yet competed in the Series, the entry will be given 2 points for a round in which they received a provisional as soon as they compete in a round and receive points.

These points will count towards Team and Nation Points.

In rounds 7 & 8 points will be awarded to the only car used. In all other rounds these points will be split between LX4 & LX6 Points.

Example 1:
Round 1: 5 points
Round 2: 3 points
Round 3: Provisional (5+3=8 | 8/2=4 | 4*.25 = 1 point awarded for provisional
Round 4: 10 points

Overall provisional points awarded: 1
LX4 Provisional points awarded: .5
LX6 Provisional points awarded: .5

Example 2:
Round 1: Provisional
Round 2: 0 points
Round 3: 1 point

Overall provisional points awarded: 2
LX4 provisional points awarded: 1
LX6 provisional points awarded: 1

Example 3:
Round 1: 0
Round 2: 1
Round 3: Provisional (0+1=1 | 1/2=.5 | .5*.25= .125 | 0 overall point average

Overall provisional points awarded: 1
LX4 provisional points awarded: .5
LX6 provisional points awarded: .5

Each Entry will have 2 provisionals over the course of the Season. Use them wisely.
