This may feel like a redundant post but it is not. What is the effect of the combination of ABS+Brake help. We have 4 scenarios for BH ON/OFF and ABS ON/OFF put together.

I tried straight line braking with these 4 scenarios in RB4, but could not conclusively find a difference. I somehow felt the BH OFF/ABS ON had reduced braking distance as opposed to BH ON/ABS OFF scenario. Probably coz ABS is more optimized than BH.

But what does the game do when both are ON, does it make the brake more conservative by adding up the effects of ABS and BH? or does both work independently using the feedback of grip levels etc and it is a case of whichever is faster kind of strategy?

AFAIK:

BH depresses your brakes if you start to lock wheels.

ABS starts working when you start locking wheels, but only lowers the ammount of force specificly on that locked wheel, so other wheels still gets max. force.
