In the order they happened...

• Split up with girlfriend after 9.5 years
  
• Moved house (as living with an ex is useless)
  
• Released the debut Albany Down album digitally ("South of the City" available on Amazon and www.albanydown.com) with the physical CD available from Amazon, Play and HMV on December 19th
  
• Found new and improved girlfriend
  
• Spent long weekend in Portugal with new girlfriend and some of her friends
  
• Finally got driving licence back after having it taken away for medical reasons and having an 18-month argument with the DVLA
  
• Saw some wicked gigs (Ed Sheeran @ Little Noise, Smith & Burrows @ the Union Chapel)
  
• Felt all tingly with the joys of Christmas and the fantastic state of the world
  

Note: one of these is a blatant fabrication.

For the first time I actually had a new year resolution that I actually achieved. The goal was to push as hard as i can in every aspect in my life.

• Worked my ass off - At one stage having three jobs doing 70 hours per week
  
• Raced at national level in karting
  
• Became a slut
  
• Own 4 cars at one stage
  

What i didnt do.

• Road trip as i do every year
  
• Quit smoking
  
• Maintain a girlfriend.... kinda screwed that one up.
  
• Go overseas
  
• Finish project cars
  

Got myself a job. and no, not robbin shoe laces

well, a bit

• got really started at new university
  
• moved into a flat share
  
• scored more credit points in two semesters here than in four at the old uni
  
• worked in car manufacturing
  
• sort of learned a new language
  
• made more friends in the first week living here than at my old uni in two years
  
• more dates (well, easy if it was 0 at old place :razz
  
• found out just how good or bad some of my friendships are/were
  
• found out the guy that bullied me in school got really fat
  

Completed my studies in Car Design and got a job at Lamborghini

Bombed my final semester at uni, twice.
Got a job that will triple my pay...
...while forcing me to move out of my parents house to live in the middle of the tropical forests.

- Lost my awesome job (office move to another end of Finland, probably because of my bad jokes).
- Won 800€ in lottery.
- Won the lfs F1 manager game lfs subleague.
- Enjoyed racing in one iracing late model league.
- Started building scale rc model truck from scratch. Bought all equipment and have 100% plans for everything. The daily 10km drive to my parent's house to go build it got very boring very quickly so I put that project on hold. Don't have place on my apartment where to drill, saw, paint and glue things.
- Read few books about aerodynamics and race car design. Forgot all of it.
- Did not read many books nor did I watch many movies. Mostly just the wire and the other hbo fantasy series.
- Almost sold my car to buy motorbike in the summer. This time it was a serious attempt
- Almost bought a kart together with few friends. Not very serious.
- private life up and downs. Pretty normal year.

Pros

• Completed my Masters - which took up most of my year
  
• Got a wee bit better at LFS
  
• Got myself a dSLR and slowly improving (I think)
  
• 1:18 die cast collection grew to 46
  
• Visited Mercedes Benz World and Top Gear Live
  
• Lots of random walks around London
  
• Went on a couple of rather intersting short-vacations
  

Cons

• Yet to land a decent job
  
• "Won" £2; but lost the ticket before I cashed it
  
• Didn't get to visit home (Sri Lanka)
  

Pros

Got myself trough the most crappy job ever.
Now I work at Hunkemoler. (yes that fashionable lingerie brand)
Got myself a dSLR
Have managed to mend my Honda by myself
Sold that piece of crap that is called an Xbox360


Cons

Had some tough financial troubles(due to that crappy job)
Was nearly killed in traffic accident
Still suck at LFS or any other sim for that matter
Did some shit that was an utter waste of time
No GF yet again (craptastic)

Pros

Managed to improve my macro shooting skills
Managed to maintain my sim skills after 2 month gaps
Bought more electronics than last year
Cycled more during the summer

Cons

Yet to apply for another licence
Didn't do as much sports as I would've liked to
Didn't finish my scale model build
Nearly lowsided

Best thing I did this year was buy a house, got sick of wasting money renting. Managed to get a place 40k NZD under rateable value. It needs work, but that ok I'm an active relaxer. I have to keep busy to unwind after dealing with semi retarded minions (and customers) at work.

thats the main things...much for me, since i didnt manage anything of that in the past 10 years

A Beemer is a BMW motorcycle and a Bimmer is a car. That's all.

-Spent a lot less time in my room playing computer games.
-Finished my education with good A level grades.
-Got a good job on a temporary basis with decent pay working on and fixing ****-ups on bank accounts for a certain bank.
-Started going to the gym and more recently taken it more seriously, putting on about 2 stone in muscle mass so far.
-Recently tipped over 200lbs on the scales from bulking up in the gym.
-Got offered a secure full-time job doing something I am enthusiastic about, being a personal trainer and gym instructor.
-Broke into semi-professional football as a goalkeeper, people paid their hard earned cash to watch me and my team which is a great privilege.
-Yet another year in a relationship with my woman. Still going strong! (Famous last words)
