I guess it would be nice if there were some better ways of managing race strategy before...well...the race For example, tire temperature on the start (which can't be changed in any way) and pit stop strategy with something like tire type, tire pressure and all other setting available in F12 menu are quite difficult to be changed while racing.

They are not so had to use even if you drive with mouse or keyboard. Take advantage of the script system and use smart key mapping so you don't have to move your hand to reach the arrow keys.

Plus, you can set it before the race just leave the pits and press F12.

I need to set it before race. When I press F12 I want to say like Lewis: "Stop talking to me while I'm racing" I don't always do that in F12 menu in time before the green lights, so the only option are straights. I need to read more about scripts - had no idea that there are some for these types of actions.

The best, is change it at once, at 2 special places: Biggest straight and Pit entry...

Forgot to mention that the script system itself may not help much if you don't play with a wheel. You can use tools like PP Joy to convert your key press events into Direct-X button input. If you have a wheel, just map buttons directly.

The script system can be powerful if used in the right way. For example, you may chance both ARB (available on some S2 cars) and brake bias for each corner without any complex input during the race.

Yes, that's what I do. But I can race only in Blackwood right now where the pit entry is not very long, especially when racing FBM's, so the straight is the only opportunity now...

Me have MOMO. I have done through scripts. Appointed to the function button and could open the menu and change the settings, but it is not easy and takes up almost all of the buttons.
