Inventor is also a paremetric sketch based system. But I find it much easier to make a design, add holes, thread holes, do cross sections, make drawing views and produce realistic views (whilst I'm working on it - using the realview thingy in Solidworks doesn't work for me).
We've still got SW at work, so I'll keep experimenting now and again, and I'm sure if I could get my head around the working method it'd become relatively easy againm but my mind just suits Autodesk's mindset.
