I played it in closed beta. Uninstalled it after 10 minutes.. with a reason.

I wasn't a Halo fan mind you, just the general look of it reminds me of Halo. Thought that of some other game coming out soon as well (forgot the name).

It looks like Tribes, which came out in 1998, well before Halo.

And anyway, the gameplay is quite different.

A lot of current FPS players (COD / BF) will really hate this game. The main reason being is that this is much faster paced and actually requires skill as there are no hitscan weapons. (Apart from turrets but you dont really control them so)

I love it though. Used to play Tribes 2 back in the day alongside Unreal Tournament so I am not exactly new to this concept, yet I am still getting my arse handed to me most of the time. However, I dont really care because I know I got outplayed and nothing else. The satisfaction from making the big plays and getting good kills yourself is amazing.

Was worried when I heard that Hi-Rez would be making the sequel, but I got to say they are doing a great job. FPS revival for PC.

Can't install it because it asks for .NET 2.0. I have 4.0 installed!
