Unfortunately I was made aware of some very tragic news this evening which I think you guys should know if you didn't already.

Joe Shaw - "5haz" here on the forum - recently passed away. I used to go to the same car club as him and, as I'm sure was the same for many of you, raced and talked with him numerous times online.

He will be sadly missed. My heart goes out to his friends and family.

Too young.

I have spoken with Joe's father and he has suggested that those who wish to contribute further make a donation to a charity they supported.

Joe was a former team-mate of mine on LFS - in two different teams actually. Not for very long though, so I didn't have the time to get to really know him, unfortunately. But I always loved his witty, sarcastic, yet deeply mature and constructive posts on the LFS Forum.

Can't believe what I am reading at the moment... Joseph was my former teammate during SRLT times... Got to notice he was a good lad, maybe not so social in the team or active, but he was a normal human being with a bright mind that I respected. My thoughts are with his family and friends. Feel really sorry for this tragic news...
