1.Smoothness in sound when changing camera

for example when in cinema view, its really iritating when watching BF1 @KY1 from back, and then suddenly camera
changes to front of car then come this beep (make it smoother) this sound is destroying my ears.

2. ability to set mouse x and mouse y axis via scripts
/axis x steer ->will assign mouse x axis to steering

3. script file which run everytime you leave pits, race restart... (like if i want automaticly turning on lights)
I wrote /press 3 in XFG script, but my light arent turning on everytime :/ (or is there any way to automaticly turn on lights)

4. Power loss when lights and/or indicators are on

5. hide/no-hide chat history at race restart option (preferably: always/if racing (in race, not spectating) /never) suggested by M.M.L.
1. Blame your computer, I'm not having this problem.

2. wat

3. wat

4. what the ****

5. ???
#3 - Sobis
2. You can already do that, just select wheel/joystick and then go to FFB/Axis (Or something like that) tab.

know that, but i want do it by scripts
like you can do "/axis 2 steer " to set axis2 to steer
How about Mouse Joystick / PP Joy ? You can even have a seperate setting for sensitivity.

1: This will happen if you frame rate is below 3.

2: Buy a wheel?

3: What?
From what I understand you want the car to automatically turn it self and drive out of pits....? No.

4: Why the hell would your car lose power when you turn the lights on?

5: Push H?
I don't understand people using lights.
@FPVaaron

3 - The OP only wants to turn on the lights, not auto pilot.

4 - Because lights consume energy ? Well... not before we have proper battery simulation.
@Keling
Running separate program for something you can already can do in LFS? NO
I just want do it by scripts. what if in middle of race my wheel axis frooze ( happens :/ ), then I just
press one button and I can continue driving with mouse.

@FPVaaron
1. 100+

2. have

3. ...drive out of pits.... :S
currently if you write /press 4 in XFG script, then racing line will be shown as you left pits
why not make that if you write /press 3 in XFG script, that your lights are automaticly turned on, didnt mean nothing about driving

4. probably you all driving some supercars... and dont have felling for basic physics :P
on my 60 hp disel engine idling, there is completly different sound when lights are turned on, engine is working harder
not to mention when turn on AC which takes about 5-10 hp. (we dont have AC in LFS :P , but trying to present you the problem)

I did some tests, constant thorttle, 3rd gear - without lights 40 kmph, with lights 37 kmph
Maybe its not so noticeable when thorttle is fully applied, but its still there

5. what if I dont have keyboard or I'm extremly lazzy

@CheerioDM
Neither me
@DANIEL-CRO

Are you sure that "/press 3" works in script ? I tried it, but never saw any effect. If I type it in the chart box after game starts, everything is fine.

this is exatcly what im trying to explain, currently this is not working, but i want that it works

3: lol ohokay

4: The way he said it implied that the engine would lose power from turning on a light switch, I'm not sure how electric cars would react, but I don't really think that matters considering LFS doesn't have any.
Pretty silly thing to have IMO as a petrol car will run without a battery not effecting the performance.
Quote from DANIEL-CRO :this is exatcly what im trying to explain, currently this is not working, but i want that it works

Oh, my bad. I thought it was "it works but not every time" instead of "don't work every time".

It does have some effect. Any electronic device turned on will increase the load of the generator, which is powered by the engine.

You're right, but this effect should be negligible, imagine that a common engine can accelerate a two ton car up to 160 km/h and compare it to the amount of work needed to power a bunch of 12 V light bulbs.

That sounds like a fix for a specific problem you have with your hardware/drivers and not related to LFS?

BTW, if you want to turn your lights on (automatically even, not that it has to do much with simulating a car) and you want the lights to affect the power to the wheels, it's simpler if you just add ballast to your car, if your goal is to want a car with less power than necessary.

Generator? you're not running a hosptial, the power to spark your car comes from the alternator which is a free spinning componant.
The power is determined by the internal parts of the alternator, which almost always has an amp rating embosed on the outside is an easier referance.

The alternator is what provides the power to spark the fuel in the engine, the batteries function is to start the car and run accessories when the engine is at idle or turned off. think of it as something plugged into the cars electrical grid and is charged when the alternator "powerstation" is spinning.

Now if your car has enough accessories to draw more power than the alternator can make then your engine will stall.
This can happen with say a 700Watt RMS sound system in an old car with a 45amp alternator then yes when you turn the volume up the car will stall or "lose power"

All standard cars i'm aware of have sufficiant alternators to power everything at once. I don't see why LFS cars need to lose power by turning on a light switch or beeping a horn.

@Faultygearbox
Its not fix for my problem, because I already can do it by simply going to Options-Controls-Axes and assign Mouse X axis to steer...
since mouse is also axis, and we can set it in LFS, it would be nice that we can set it also via scripts.... how hard is to understand this?
if you never saw LFS scripts -> http://en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/Script_Guide

if you have have higher load on electrical grid, alternator will require more power to work (logic?) that means alternator will slow down a engine

F=I*L x B
higher I (current) ---> higher F (force) (resistance)

@TRKAC
I must agree with you
moraš razumijeti da djeca nisu nikad vozila auto, pa nemogu to razumjeti :P
The power loss, when not at at idle, of using lights is so tiny it's not worth worrying about. At idle (low speed of engine and hence low speed of alternator (which is a generator)) then the load on the engine will increase a noticeable amount - hence the change in tone. The engine will idle slightly faster (or the ignition timing will change to maintain the standard idle speed etc) to accept that change in power required.

It's not hard to understand what you want to do. Your example on -why- you want to do it however (because your wheel freezes) just sounded a bit far fetched for a reason why it needs to be scriptable, from LFS development point of view.
Same thing goes with toggling lights.

It's perfectly fine for you to suggest these things, as it is for me to give input as I think they sound a tad pointless.

The answers are answers... You say where is the problem, we say what we think about the problem, and "There is no problem" is a comprehensible answer...

Points of view, learn this... Its not because you didnt like LFS because of some things that it becomes a bad simulator...
